Brewster Bye Architects have been commissioned by a number of private clients to design their dream home. Often this has involved the client wishing to refurbish and extend an existing historic property, saving and restoring key architectural features of the house whilst incorporating new state of the art technology, improving the layout to meet current standards and adding extra accommodation eg a conservatory, a swimming pool or vehicle garaging. Inevitably such properties are located in historic or rural environments and require a very sensitive approach at both Planning and Construction stages.
