As part of the overall Northshore development and masterplan we have delivered 82 two, three and four bedroom houses in phase 3 with a mix of outright sale, shared ownership and affordable rent

The masterplan establishes two principal axes to the site which then informs the layout of the houses. A north – south axis provides the entrance into the site with a wide, tree-lined boulevard which is fronted by houses and culminates in a public square which then provides a stepped access to the riverside walkway. An east – west axis runs perpendicular to this from the landscaped square providing access to the houses and also a pedestrian link from phase 2 of the Homezone to the Infinity Bridge Plaza. Each axis provides vehicular access within the site which then becomes pedestrian only access at each of the transition points described above.

Smaller less formal shared surface areas extend from these axes giving access to the remainder of the site and providing a clear heirachy of spaces. Where appropriate, building lines are rotated slightly in order to slow traffic and maximise views into and beyond the site. The houses have been situated across the site to form a heterogeneous streetscape with soft landscaping positioned to ensure car parking and hard standing areas do not dominate the frontage and to provide defensible space. The development offers a uniform ground pattern, following the alignment of the proposed roads and adjacent site boundaries.
